About
Maylee Velasco is a violinist and composer currently studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance after graduating from the Royal College of Music Junior Department in 2024 having been there for 5 years. She's led and plays regularly with the Chineke! Junior Orchestra, performing in venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, KKL Luzern, and Fairfield Halls. She also plays with NYJO as well as other put together orchestras/ensembles for gigs and concerts.
SYMPHONY NO.1 "METANOIA"
My first ever symphony written when I was 17, "metanoia" is defined as 'the journey of changing one's mind, heart, self, or way of life'.
